Michelle, How I heart Thee, Let Me Count The Ways.

I have a new hero, and her name be Michelle. She is the ONLY hm with any personality in the place, the only one making things happen, stirring the pot, telling it like it is and creating action in the house.

Yes, she's annoying. Her voice is loud, her grammar and language appalling (but so is mine, so I don't really mind) she takes over most situations and drowns out the other hms. But seriously, what the fuck have the other HM's done all season to entertain us? What have they contributed to the house? They're all as quiet and docile as church mice, so it's not like she is taking anything away from them at all.

As Rainy Boons said on the forum, she's "the fly in the ointment". She's the thorn in their side that will not abate and for that alone she's good value.

I hope you all watched the daily show last night and saw her chair the house meeting. How much were the hm's squirming after her inflammatory questions such as "Why are you all sheep"? And "Why is nobody allowed to sit in anybody elses seat?".
Andrew's face was that red, he was fuming so much, you could almost see the smoke coming out of his ears that I thought he'd burst a vein in his head. He does NOT like having his authority challenged in any way, and certainly doesn't like being confronted by the likes of Michelle, a mere intruder who should know her place, shut the fuck up and bow down to him like the rest of them.

Michelle set the tone for the day by suggesting that someone else besides the "Billy's, Andrew's and Thomas' that do everything" should lead the task.
Later that day Blandrew quipped to his second in command, Billy that " She speaks rubbish, what she says has no validity at all. She's got nothing"
To which Billy replied.
"Yeah, she's got nothing".

Oh but she does. She has a mouth the size of Luna Park and is not afraid or intimidated by the Boys Club.
Blandrew made the mistake of underestimating her, and thinking that because the things she says are not sanctioned by him that they're of little worth. Well she sure had him squirming later that night.

Michelle made the decision to sit in Blandrew's chair, and even after he claimed not to care and told her to "go for it", it was evident that it was a most symbolic gesture, and removing him from the head of the table did not please him at all. (I so wish I grabbed a screencap, it was bright red and his eyes were glaring)

At one point when Michelle was raving on about them being sheep and following each other around, he put his head in his hands on the table.
She hit a nerve with him, Billy and Thomas, who sneeringly admited to being a sheep. (seriously could the guy be any more cringeworthy?)
Another interesting thing to come out of that meeting was the statement by Blandrew that he wasn't there to be best friends with anyone, and that he is being "Forced to live in a house with people he doesn't want to live with".
Whaaaaaaaaat? Who is forcing you Blandrew? You could leave at any time. Is it because you see the house as yours and the others are only unwanted guests?
I honestly think he signed his own death warrant with that one statement. We can all help out with that desire not to live with people he doesn't like, and I think he'll get what he wants in that regard this sunday.

Later on that evening, discussing Michelle's outburst with Travis he said, "The reason she's on the outer is because no-one likes her".
Wrong! He should have amended that statement to something like "The sheep in MY group don't like her and therefore she is a nothing and a nobody", because that's what he was really saying.

Finally, in regards to the Blandrew/Michelle faceoff, you must watch tonight's daily show. BB has paired up the hm's and they mustn't be more than a two meters away from each other at any time. Guess who he partnered King Blandrew up with? MICHELLE!! Haaaaaaa!!!

Last night he was punished (the first time EVER, he was even bragging earlier that he has talked TEN times without his mic on and never once received a fine) for picking up the house phone, and had to spend TWO hours in the punishment room with Michelle, cleaning boots.
I don't think the dude could have been punished better in ANY other way. It was GOLD.

Getting off Blandrew, the other thing I've been meaning to mention for days, is my problem with Joel.
Is it just me, or does the guy appear to be acting 24 hrs a day! He never seems sincere, everything he says sounds rehearsed, he plays up to the cameras 24/7, and sometimes he behaves as if he's outside of himself, watching himself act out a scene.
I've heard him talk numerous times about what he hopes to "get out of this experience" and make comments like "I know what I'm in here for", that it makes me think the reason he doesn't get involved in conflict or even voice his opinions on anything, is because he is playing a role, and has his sights set firmly getting some kind of comedic "career" out of BB.
Whatever, I find him to be a bit fake, false, and flying very low under the radar.

Jamie has also amused me this week. It's so very ironic the way the Boys club have embraced him this week as a fellow nominated HM, even though they must know he has removed himself and put someone else in his place.
Jamie has used his "nomination status" to worm his way into the Boys club, whilst Joel feels a little on the outer and HE is the one who is up for eviction instead.

Thomas is currently leading the nomination board with Blandrew not far behind. It appears that Billy will escape eviction this week, and it will be very interesting to see how he sits in the throne once Blandrew is gone.

I'm still voting and hoping for the king and his offsider to go out together, but I'm fast losing hope.

Thank you Steph for clarifying a point that was bugging me for weeks.

Joel said the other night "I wouldn't talk to Jamie outside of the house so why should I in here? It would upset my BB journey to hang with people I wouldn't normally"

Errrr isn't that the idea of BB, you Dickhead?

I found Andrew's statement about not being there to make friends etc very interesting too. Stupid ginger prick.

I am LOVING Michelle. Her and Zach are the only people I'd like to see win it this year!

It'a a shame Michelle wasn't put into the house much earlier, but I guess if that had been the case, she would already be gone by now. She is certainly annoying, but I respect the way she tells it as she sees it, instead of saying one thing and acting in another way, like certain...well many of the others in there do.

Blandrew is very similar to my brother .... in his little bubble everything is perfect and Michelle is a germ in it .... This is what we watch BB for ... entertainment ... loud mouth aussies!! lol .... love it .... I loved Pauly in BB? .... He was another one who didn't mind telling the sooks what he thought!!

The problem with deposing Andrew's lieutenant Billy, is that C10 (in their usual 'trying to rig the votes' way) are playing up the "Billy 4 Aleisha" romance angle. Unfortunately, we all know how the teen-girl voter demographic feels about that, and more important how they feel about Aleisha. So ja, chances are Billy will be saved to keep Aleisha 'happy'. Ain't 'love' grand ? *vomits in his mouth*

Exadios, whythankyouverymuch!

Phil, Very good point. Joel is there purely to promote himself, and good on him I suppose, but it's like watching a store dummy. What more do we know about him that we didn't seven weeks ago? Nada. Zip. Nuthin.

Amy, Blandrew is an arrogant ginger prick, and I hope Zac wins it.

Javatari, You're right, she would only have lasted about a month I think. But how good would her spats with Emma have been!!

Mellisa, Pauly lost me after the whole Merlin incident, but he did calm down somewhat after that and was good value to watch.

DP, unfortunately, you're spot on. They all love a bit of manufactured "romance". Bleh!

I'm taking consolation in the fact that, if they have to be evicted this week, Andrew and Billy would have loved to go together. So I get some warm fuzzies from thwarting that dream, while still kicking Andrew to the curb. And no more Thomas, that can only be good.

But then I'm a very petty and bitter kinda girl.

At first I found Michelle repulsive, but now I firmly believe she is a secret mole and an accomplished actor. She has alluded to having a mission, and clearly seeks to stir the pot, but it is her over the top bogan personae that truly betrays her agenda. Oh yes, she is quite convincing as a bogan, but occasional glimpses of high intelligence in those dead pan eyes of hers gives the whole game away.

I feel she is working for BB not so much for financial renumeration, but because she is a fan of the show and genuinely finds the house dull. I have no doubt that BB provides her advice and encouragement.

If only Michael from last season had been kept secret from the public and shielded from their votes.
