Fake noms #11 and Housemates vote.- Recap.

Aleisha:
2 points: “Daniela. I’m nominating her because she keeps calling herself a blonde. She only has two streaks in her hair and it annoys me.” BB teased her, “Are you a real blonde?” and Aleisha conceded, “No, but I have been for a long time.”
1 point: Zoran – for telling everyone about the trick she played last night. Aleisha explained that if Zoran had kept her secret, she would not have been dumped in the pool or covered in flour.

Ok, when BB asked her if she was a real blonde, that was her cue to drop her daks and show us if the carpet matches the drapes. WUSS!

Zach:
2 points: Joel. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but we’ve only had two pashes so far and I was hoping for a third.” He joked that Joel now had a cold sore, which would thwart his chances of another pash. Big Brother remarked that he saw all and questioned Zach as to when these alleged pashes had occurred. Zach explained that he had jokingly kissed Thomas and had another jokey kiss in the Bathroom.
1 point: Zoran. Zach explained that Zoran had little white hairs on his chest and he didn’t like them. “I still find him intimidating,” he also admitted.

I love Zach. I love him like cash. Sadly, I fear he may be booted this week.

Joel:
2 points: “Daniela. I don’t like it when she pouts in the mirror.” He admitted he looked in the mirror 24/7 but Daniela pouted her lips and that annoyed him. Big Brother asked if Joel was upset that Daniela didn’t pout at him. “That could be the case – the mirror gets all the pouts and not me,” smiled Joel.
1 point: Zach, for using too much bronzer. Joel said he thought that you should embrace the “natural look.” Big Brother reminded him he had Nominated Zach before and Joel said his actions spoke less about Zach than it did about the other people in the House.

Anyone else get the feeling good 'ol Joel may be a closet homophobe? He's a young Lib after all.

Billy:
2 points: “Daniela, because she pouts in the mirror too much.” Big Brother asked him if he had discussed this with anyone and Billy assured him he hadn’t.
1 point: “Zach – he wears odd socks.” Big Brother said cheekily, “Be careful, your nose will grow,” and a grinning Billy said, “Don’t worry, Aleisha fixed that last night.”

It's all fun and games till somebody breaks a nose. Now, call me the fun police, one of the frowning brigade, but I thought it was all funny till they poured the flour on Aleisha. I don't know quite why that made me uncomfortable but it did. I think it was the fact that she's female and was at the mercy of four males. Stupid, I know, she asked for it and she was laughing.........but still.

Gretel then announced that the graph had shown some huge changes and showed the new results…

Daniela: 34%
Zach: 12%
Joel: 12%
Zoran: 12%

Daniela:
2 points: Zoran. “I have noticed that his friendship has changed based on whether I have won Friday Night Games or not.” Daniela explained that when her “reign” as FNL winner was beginning to end, Zoran would not be as friendly.
1 point: Billy. “He’s shopper/chef this week and he doesn’t like to put salt in the food and I really, really like salt in my food.” BB reminded Daniela that was the third week in a row she had Nominated Billy. “No it’s not….” She said, then admitted, “Maybe it is. This is just another reason.”

What is the dealio with Daniela and Zoran?? They're all over each other ALL the time and then turn around and nominate each other. Very weird. Billy is the King of the house and Daniela was always going to nominate him for that reason alone.

Travis:
2 points: Travis explained he had brought a “little helper” in with him – a pretend bird that sat perched on his shoulder. Travis said the little bird has whispered in his ear and agreed that Daniela had won FNL twice and had exposure to good food, giving her a “performance enhancing diet.” Big Brother deadpanned, “There’s an old saying – there’s nothing like a good joke. And that was nothing like a good joke.” Travis was clearly flummoxed.
1 point: Zach. “The night he first entered the Big Brother House he reminded me of the Cadbury’s Favourites person and every time I look at him I think of chocolate.” Travis said he was a lover of chocolate and struggled to look at Zach as it made him miss chocolate even more. Big Brother said that despite the fact his reasoning had made no sense, it was accepted.

Strike me down for saying so, but I think Travis is of the same mindset as Joel. Sure he's never been anything but nice to Zach, but has nominated him ever since he came into the house, for stupid, petty reasons.

Zoran:
2 points: “Zach. The way his hair sits to the side reminds me of a Ken Doll and growing up, I was a big GI Joe fan. That’s actually affecting my time in the House.”
1 point: “Daniela. I think her eyebrows are a little uneven and it’s really distracting me while I am talking to her and I am actually losing sleep and so I am going to go ahead and Nominate her.” Big Brother told Zoran he had Nominated Daniela before and Zoran said, “What can I say… a lot of pouting in mirrors…” He finished by saying her blonde streak reminded him of his least favourite X-Men character.

I hate Zoran. I can't stand to watch him eat and I hate hearing him mumble/stutter when ever he talks. I feel like I need subtitles every time he opens his mouth.

If the Housemates’ Nominations points had counted, the Housemates up this week (in points order) would have been Daniela, Zach, Zoran and Joel. But as we all know… their points didn’t count.

With the lines closed, the final public votes were in and the Housemates up for Eviction were…

Daniela: 26%
Billy: 16%
Zach: 14%
Travis: 13%

The Housemates’ choice and the Public’s matched when it came to Daniela and Zach, but differed with Billy and Travis.

Joel was called in to perform his twist. He chose to save Travis. “I feel that he is the most genuine guy here who has not changed a bit since day one and I would love for him to be here until the end.”

BB asked him who he wanted to replace Travis. Joel thought hard. “You can’t put yourself in can you?” Big Brother said, “Do you want to?” Joel said, “No, no… because I wasn’t up. If I was up, maybe…” Joel stammered, trying to think of someone. “I’ll put in Aleisha. Why? Because she would not take it as harshly as Zoran would take it and that is why.”

The Housemates up for Eviction are:
Daniela
Billy
Zach
Aleisha

I think it will be a close call between Daniela and Zach. I'm hoping against all hope that Daniela gets the arse.
It distresses me greatly that yet another female will probably go and that I WANT her to, but BB really picked a bunch of plastic, morose, female contestants this year. I'm fed up with Daniela constantly talking about herself, and turning ANY conversation back to her. She's a drama queen, and although she had so much potential, in the end,she came out lacking.

I would LOVE for Zach to win. He's so adorable and brings more life to the house than most of the others in there, plus it would get up their noses so bad if a intruder was to take it out.
I really hope he survives this week's eviction.

In other news, so over the Michelle/Gretel love fest. Gretel described Michelle as "Lovely, irrepressible" and "terrific". FUCK OFF!
She was not! She was good for ratings and drama and therefore revenue, that was it.
I'm also sick of those people saying that Michelle brought action to the house and therefore she didn't deserve a bollocking for her behaviour.
It's not the hm's fault if they're boring and bad for ratings. They didn't put themselves in the house BIG BROTHER DID. Gretel has no right to be a mean, surly bitch to the dull housemates, they were just being themselves, why should they be punished by her for that? She should be punishing BB with her evil eyes and sneering mouth. The producers are the ones that chose the hm's. If they chose boring people it's their fault and that shouldn't give Gretel a free reign to tear them to shreds, whilst rimming the louder more obnoxious hms.

Consistency is all we ask for. If Gretel can't do it, then get someone else who can.

I was utterly furious with a comment by Gretel. I strategically and very deliberately voted many times over to nominate Joel so as to halve his power of the twist and force him to remove himself from the list of nominated.Towards the end of the vote the nominated were announced and Joel was among them. Happy me. Then Gretel in a bewildered tone said to the public that she was surprised that Joel was up because he had the twist. She was implying that because his power of the twist effectively gave him immunity it was a wasted vote. Shortly thereafter Joel’s name moved to the other side of the graph. I am really irate that Gretel as show host can with a comment like this potentially have a major impact on the public voting and basically rob me of my power and my money. Ripped off. I’m over it!

Giana, Hi, this issue has caused a ruckus in the forums too.
How can Gretel NOT know how the voting works?
Of course a vote for Joel is valid, it would mean he has to save himself. Is she really that dense or is there another agenda?

I have a theory. A fairly simple theory, but one which may have many subtle and diverse consequences. A theory which could impact the playing of the game, voting, and the production of Big Brother in series' to come. A theory that may even provide the missing link between the Jamie's and Michelle's interviews. Are you ready?

Gretel is a tool.

Whoa!! I know, it's a lot to take in, but if you think about it, it fits! It all fits!

This must be what Einstein felt like after the General Theory of Relativity.

It's either that, or she's distracted by the upcoming release of Harry Potter.

I agree with you the whole flour thing with Aleisha made me uncomfortable for some reason too. Can't pinpoint why, I mean she was laughing and all and it was all in good fun but it bugged me all the same.
Personally I was shocked the public nominated Travis, I thought he was one of the sure ones to win, where did this change of heart come from, perhaps he's just not as popular as first thought. goes to show no-one is a sure win yet.
Joel has nominated stategically every week, and as much as I like him he's definately there to win it. He's a big game player, but then anyone who is on the show is there to play the proverbial game.
Agree hope Daniela goes this week, I mean how annoying and self absorbed can one person get, alot of people are saying they were sick of Billy complaining about her, but hey so would I. She's in the Big Bro house and spends most the day sleeping, said she wouldn't nominate the girls then proceded to do so. I think Aleisha was right with her comment that daniela wanted to be the only girl. I'm hoping Aleisha, Zach or Travis win it!
As for Gretel she's always been controversal as a host, i love some of her comments she throws out. She did have a valid point about the voting of Joel but perhaps shouldn't have voiced ti till after the voting. And really if you voted for Joel when he had the twist...you ripped yourself off..

I busted a gut laughing when BB asked A if she was a real blonde. hahahahahahaha!

It was far more amusing to watch the housemates nominating when BB was more relaxed about it. It reminded me of the earlier days of BB - I mean of course she should give proper reasons but it was fun to watch them nominate without BB interrupting every 2 seconds like he usually does.

Is this week a double eviction? I have a feeling that it might be, in which case both Zach and D will be GONE. :( I love Z, he's adorable!

Noooooooooooooooooooooo..I can't believe my Zach is up. He'd almost certainly be safe from the public, but I am very nervous about his chances from the other house mates.

I'd much rather see Daniela go.

Tim, You're a friggin genius! you should write a book or somethin. ;)

Katerulz, I think it's a female thing. Seeing another female being toyed with that way struc a chord with me too.
As for Travis, I think he slipped down the ladder over his friendship with Michelle.

M, Good Christ! If it's a double, Zach is GONE! Oh noes, I didn't think of that. *cries*

Raven, I agree, I think his popularity is growing and as long as he doesn't start bitching he could go to the end, HOWEVER, this nominations bullshit could put a dampner on that.

N, I bet you are. But then what next? ;)
